I'm Alexander, a Creative Director and Video Producer. I spend most of my time thinking about ideas, making concepts, and figuring out how to turn the first two into the great visual product without losing what made the idea exciting in the first place.
My world sits somewhere between creative direction, filmmaking, and content production. I like building things from scratch, working with good people, and finding a way forward when the obvious way doesn't quite work.
I'm endlessly curious about what's happening around me: new technologies, filmmaking, photography, AI tools, design, and all the strange new ways we're learning to make things. I love experimenting with AI, but I don't see it as a shortcut or a replacement for craft. To me, it's another production tool, something to build into a creative pipeline just like a camera, a crew, or a post-production workflow. The tools change; knowing how to tell a story and make something worth watching doesn't.
I spending my working life surrounded by screens, cameras, and production pipelines. Maybe that's why I like the things that slow me down. I shoot film, collect cameras I probably don't need, listen to a lot of jazz, and wander around with a camera more than is strictly efficient. I like the imperfection of analogue photography and the patience it demand, especially when most of my professional life is built around making things faster.
I like things with a little bit of character. Imperfect images. Weird ideas. People who care about what they make.
